Quiet Boy (Gaz Tomlinson) - Composer, songwriter, sound designer, musical director & performer.
Since 2015 started composing for theatre and film under the name 'Quiet Boy’. Alongside Brigitte Aphrodite, co-creator of acclaimed theatre shows ‘My Beautiful Black Dog’ (2014/5), ‘Parakeet’ (2019), The Christmas Goblin (2021), ‘Living Legends & Dead Ones Too’ (2023), ‘SAD’ (2024). ‘My Beautiful Black Dog’ is regarded as one of the original innovator’s for the ‘Gig Theatre’ genre in the UK. Shows BA & QB make have toured nationally and featured in Guardian, Elle, Exeunt BBC 6 music and on the BBC 10 O’clock News.
Gaz’s recent work has been composing/sound design for ‘Moxie Brawl’ shows Cambridge Junctions Christmas show ‘The Nutcracker’ and ‘Punk Alley’ which is currently touring UK & Ireland. Jodie Cole’s ‘Boogie Booth’ (currently touring) & ‘Feel the Beat’ R&D.
Gaz has also been touring the UK with ‘The Bar at the Edge of Time’ as a performer with multi-sensory theatre company ‘Frozen Light’ who make theatre for adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD)
Brigitte & Gaz have just formed their new company ‘Crescendorious Productions’ and will be premiering their new early years show ‘A Message for the Future’ at Southbank Centre’s Imagine Festival in 19th-23rd Feb 2025.
